After my question on SNS, many of you suggested that I go to the COEX starfield library. So today, I have this for you. First of all, to reach COEX (at least from what I know) you can take the subway metro line 9 Bongeunsa station exit number 7 or subway metro line 2 Samseong station exit number 6.
Going out of the metro, If you walk north of COEX, there is a buddhist temple named Bongeunsa and its really worth it to see. The temple was founded in 794 during the reign of King Wonseong by the monk Yeon-hoe (the highest ranking monk of Silla) It is a very beautiful temple with nice buildings and statues worth seeing.

Now, going to COEX there is many entrances you can get in. If you are a Kpop fan you can walk a bit further where the SMtown museum is, I would like to show you more about it but unfortunately it was closed (I think because of the corona cases)

As for COEX, it is in fact a shopping center. There is places to shop eat or drink coffee, just don’t forget to have your passport with you as there is a duty free floor. The most beautiful thing in COEX is the starfield library where you can sit and read books. Usually, at the center of the library there is some kind of art. For now, there is the “city of light” by artists Lee Eunsook and Sung Byungkwon, im celebration of the library’s 3rd anniversary. The 9 meters tall art represents all the knowledge and wisdom accumulated in the library, and the artwork changes color depending on the direction of the light entering Coex mall. When I first saw it, it reminded me the portal that Lee Minho uses in the Kdrama The king: eternal monarch.

This is it about COEX. If you want to see more about the Temple you can tell me and I can make an article about it. Also, you can suggest more places on the comment section, or even foods you are curious about. I would love to see your own suggestions.
Also you can follow me on instagram where I upload most of the photos from Korea.
